These wooden bottle boxes are hand made in Telford, Shropshire. They are saving my customers between £5 and £25 every week in lost milk. Don't give up - you CAN keep enjoying milk on your doorstep every day AND help protect the services of your local milkman.
My
own original (of course I use one too) is now 5 years old, and still fighting
fit!
I've not lost even ONE bottle in all that time!
The model pictured clearly shows if it's empty or not, another model hides
the bottles completely.
This neat little box is just brilliant for milk bottles, and even
small parcels.
It will protect your milk from the heat of the summer sun,
from cats, birds and even thieves.
All these units are constructed in 9mm, long lasting birch plywood (grade B or S, often specified for boats). This has excellent weather resistance and can take a lot of abuse. Nevertheless treating with some form of preservative on ALL surfaces is strongly recommended to provide some stain resistance. Roofing felt with stainless steel staples covers the lid, which is fixed with 2 brass hinges. The weight of the lid is enough to protect the milk bottles from prying birds and animals. On the lockable version the unit is left unlocked until loaded, then with a twist of the lock it will lock fast. The householder then opens it again with a key.

pint cartons).

The Wall-Hung model is held securely by two screws.
